How the Case was Solved?
This had been one of the best prison breaks of all time, because it worked. Frank Morris, John and Clarence Anglin vanished from one of the toughest prisons of all time, leaving only paper-mache dummies in their cell beds.
But as to what happened after their perfect escape, baffles all sorts of authorities. Their bodies were never recovered, giving way to the idea that they may have perished travelling through the bay or they actually made it to shore to their freedom.
In the years following their escape they had not heard or saw one piece of valuable evidence connecting to the three fugitives, leading the FBI to practically assume that they had died attempting to travel to shore. The FBI then closed the case 1979, still requesting if any evidence is found to share it with the proper authorities.
